Well whooptee-doo, I haven't updated in way too long @_@ I had planned to do so after attending orientation but I never did until now.
Orientation went better than I thought - dreary, endless and repetitive presentations aside, it was pretty fun. Hopefully this is a good sign for the coming school year.
Hmm, well, uh, since then, geez, lots of things have happened. XD I'm no longer living in a hotel, for one thing! We've leased an awesome apartment in a gated community until mid-December, so that's one great thing
I also got my Learner's Permit in the month that has passed. I can't drive with it until I'm 18 XD But still!
College starts Monday - geez, and I had been thinking there's SOOOO much time until I start, but it all flew by so quickly. ._. Hopefully I'm ready.
Writing-wise, I think I should be posting something up soon
I have a prologue ready for one of my original stories, and I'm working on a re-write of Ignitus 01.
Gaming-wise... the Phoenix Wright series is beyond brilliant, what can I say? A colorful cast of characters with awesome twists and turns in the cases and a perfectly put together gameplay that makes you apply your mind and use logic - what more could I want?
I can't thank
Dairuga enough for introducing me to the series. <3
Now. I'm sure many people raised an eyebrow at the title, and this is quite a story to tell.
So today, my mom and I went out shopping... I had decided to wear some new shoes I got recently, to see how well my feet agree with them when I walk a lot. It turned out that they kinda don't, as they made blisters(if that's what they're called) on my pinky toes >.> Now, we get to the mall. We go inside, and ask one of the cashiers there if they have a bandaid or two they can give me; she said they have to have some in the back somewhere, for themselves, and called one of her co-workers to get one. After waiting for about 10 minutes, she gets a call on her cashier phone and asks me what my name is. I said "Christopher". Then... she asked me for my last name. I ask "Why do you need that?" She asks the person on the other line why, and she then tells me "Because they need it to register that you got a bandaid from us." I was stupefied and told her that if I have to give my full name to receive a damned bandaid, I don't need it; I can just wait till I get to a store and buy a full box of them. The cashier lady was nice though, she understood and didn't take offense XD But yes. If you want a bandaid, you have to give your full name. Right. They just wanted my name so they could send me junk mail XD This must be one of those "Only in the USA" things.
Aside from that, uh... I'm not sure what to fill this with XD I'm kinda in a "don't-feel-like-doing-anything" mood.
A request I'd like from everybody - please wish best of luck and safety for my dear friend
Dairuga, who will be starting to attend a living-on-campus school for one year, and is currently making a long trip to get to where it is. I'd appreciate it if you could do that for me
I'm not sure I have much else to update with for now... perhaps a bit later. XD See you all later!
