In the middle of the night, Ignitus woke up suddenly. He was in the training room.
"Wh-where...?" he stuttered. Then, he looked around, and saw Spyro not too far from him. Then he remembered... he was now back in the temple again... thanks to Spyro.
This was the first night he spent in the temple in a long time; he had gotten used to sleeping in cold, lonely caves. He got up and went closer to Spyro. He was sleeping soundly; what could one expect? The young dragon had spent most of his first day at the temple training; of course he was tired, and needed sleep. Yet his face looked so peaceful... Ignitus smiled.
"He's so full of life... so young..." Ignitus thought to himself. "Too young...". A sad look came over his face.
"Why must he be so heavily burdened? So much depends on him... if only I could take the burden for him...". Ignitus lay down near Spyro. He continued to look at him.
"I wish I could give him better than this... he deserves better... but there's nothing I can do..."
He sighed.
"His growth will be a wonder to the world... but he needs someone to guide and believe in him... I'm glad that... at least for now, I am that someone..."
His eyes were starting to close. He was still looking at Spyro.
"I hope... I will continue to be that someone... for him....... I wonder if he would mind... I hope he wouldn't..."
His eyes closed, and he finally fell asleep again.

Parker was having a patrol around the base with a group of five. Flanning was still wary of any more sneak incursions of the apes. After all, just two days ago, they found a small group trying to sneak past. Of course, they did not did damage, compared to the first one that had caused utter chaos.

On the mountain of Malefor walked the demonic dragon Damien with the whole group of shadow apes to the crystal where Malefor should be trapped.
"So let me get this straight… I shall help you to free your master that abandoned you all to live in the shadows and so can I use your armies to what I want?" asked Damien to the ape leader Geral.
"Yes" said Geral.
"And why do you think I can do that?" asked Damien.
"Because you are a demon… and a strong one too"
"I can free him… but I will make some changes" chuckled Damien evilly.
"What do you mean?" asked Geral.
"You will see…" said Damien.

"AAAHHHHH!!!" a sudden scream rips trough Spyro's sleep, causing him to become completely awake in matter of moments and jumping from where he was resting. He head also Cynder scream. He thought that she was hurt and turned to find her. His fear for Cynder caused him to scream, making even more noise.
He found her, and one of the strange creatures, a few centimeters apart, both shouting at their top of their lungs. Surely, someone would have heard this entire racket. The other unconscious creature also awoke, and upon seeing Cynder and Spyro, he froze on his bed.
Finally, the shouts of screams were faded away, leaving a sudden empty silence

Well, this continues off directly from Ignitus 04: Training. Basically, since Ignitus 04 was basically Ignitus and Spyro's first day at the temple, this is their first night at the temple

I sort of wanted to capture the fact that Ignitus was starting to grow attached to Spyro, and that he does wish he could do more for him
